Testimonials

Dear Fellow Retirees & Members of Shell Club 15 Plus,

Welcome to our new and official home on the web. This builds on the existing channels we already have, such as SMS, Email, Viber and Facebook, which expands the connections among our members and other stakeholders. Aside from showcasing information on club events, activities and other announcements, our website will also contain online membership application and the means for receiving your feedback and comments. Existing and potential third-party donors may now contribute electronically to the club through the Donation link which will be available soon.

Please feel at home and use these facilities as often as you can. You may check out the Announcement link for updates on forthcoming activities and events. Welcome and start surfing.

Hello Members of Shell Club15 Plus!

We are a loving and caring organization and aim to serve our members in that way.

I congratulate the website team for setting this up. We have our Facebook, Yahoogroups and Viber but nothing can match the functionality of a website!

You will get your latest updates and a better way for sending over queries to our Board and Secretariat from this site. We encourage you to give us feedback.

As we march onwards to the next chapter of our beloved club, let us not ask what the club can do for us, rather ask what we can do for the Club!

Baste Quiniones
Chairman 2019-2021

The uniqueness of Shell Club15 comes from the biblical love and care of a Samaritan to a complete stranger. Our Good Samaritan Program has helped numerous retirees for more than a decade. Thus, the foundation of Club15 is anchored on the passion and commitment of those who serve.

I am extremely proud of the work that has been done by our trustees, past and present, as they participate in the very rewarding act of “being a man for others.” The call for commitment and service should not stop at the Board level. It is also a call for all members to share their talents and resources.

Here is a quote from Cecelia Ahern – “Home is not a place, it’s a feeling.” No wonder, Shell is home to many of us.

Shell Club15 Plus through the years has developed a number of landmark programs, but the one that stands out the most is the visiting the sick program. It is when we touch-base with our fellow retirees who are facing some difficult challenges in life. This is usually an emotion-filled moment especially with the financial assistance handed over in the presence of the family. There has never been a moment when emotion did not break out even among our male colleagues. The thought and gesture of being there with our ailing colleague is so heart-rending – a true manifestation of being a Good Samaritan.
