We, Shell Club15 Plus, are committed to respecting, honouring, and safeguarding your privacy.

We process your personal information in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its implementing rules and regulations and other applicable laws.

Shell Club 15+ shall process your personal information only after ensuring that you are apprised of the nature, purpose, and extent of the processing of your personal data, as well as the risk and safeguards involved.

B. Legitimate Purpose

Shell Club 15+ shall process your personal information only in accordance with our declared and specified objectives, which are:

  • Provide financial support in time of dire need and serious illness. (The Good Samaritan Fund)
  • Promote physical and mental well-being through vaccination programs, and other health activities. (Wellness)
  • Foster camaraderie and support for its members. (Community Building)
  • Increase engagement with members through informative lectures or workshops with resource speakers. (Discussion Series)

The above objectives are collectively called the 4 Pillars of Shell Club 15+.
Furthermore, the processing must not be contrary to law, morals, public policy, and the By- Laws of SC15+.

C. Proportionality

Shell Club 15 + shall constantly abide by the principle of data minimization wherein it shall only process personal information that are accurate, relevant, and necessary for our declared objectives.

Furthermore, it will not process personal data if the purposes of the processing could be reasonably fulfilled by other means.

We collect, record, organize, store, update/modify, retrieve, consult, use, or consolidate your personal information during your membership application, Grant of Good Samaritan Fund, and Club related activities or events.
When you visit our Shell Club15 Plus website (https://shellclub15.com/) we collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.

Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use our website. From time to time, we may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

We may collect potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for users leaving comments on https://shellclub15.com/contact/. We disclose IP addresses under the same circumstances that we use and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

4. How do we use your personal Information?

We collect, use and process your personal information for the following purposes but still in compliance with the provision of the data privacy law:

  • Your name, contact details, email, Shell employment background and photo are used to verify your identity and prevent identity fraud, create, or update your Shell Club15 Plus membership record and provide you with a Shell Club15 Plus ID as well as services e.g. Shell Club15 Plus email or Viber notification.
  • Your address(es) email and telephone or cellular phone numbers are used in order to contact you in the manner that you have indicated in your membership application, for the purpose of informing you of Shell Club15 Plus activities, events, or news about Shell Club15 Plus, to transmit Shell Club15 Plus publications and messages, or relaying messages from other Shell Club15 Plus members.
  • Your marital status is used to determine the applicability of discounted or free vaccinations/medical examinations for your spouse.

5. With whom do we share your personal information?

Your personal and sensitive personal information may be used by us for providing you with other services such as vaccination programs, medical missions and for other purposes that would enable us to carry out our respective mandates, pursuant to our Main Objectives and the Mission and Vision of our club.

Your personal information is shared as necessary, on a considered and confidential basis, with our affiliates, representatives, agents such as Local Area Coordinators (LACs) and medical service providers to assist us with club activities and medical services.

They act on our behalf in accordance with instructions for the legitimate purposes, and do not process your information for any purpose over and above what was requested.

We do not process your personal information to carry out any wholly automated decision making that affects you.

6. How long do we hold your personal information?

We retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for and delete it until such time that you cease to be a member thereof, which may be brought about by expulsion, resignation, or death.

In some cases, we may hold your data for a longer period for statistical purposes but we only retain the anonymized data.

7. Security and Confidentiality

We employ appropriate organizational, physical, technical and IT Infrastructure security measures to ensure confidentiality, data integrity and security of all personal information we process.
